Welcome to News & Updates

One of the commitments I have made throughout this campaign is to communicate openly, listen carefully, and make it easier for residents to stay informed about the issues affecting Ward 4 and Burlington.

That is the purpose of this new News & Updates section.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll use this space to share campaign updates, perspectives on local issues, community news, and occasional deeper dives into the decisions and conversations shaping our city and region.

Municipal government touches so much of our everyday lives, from the roads we travel and the parks we enjoy to property taxes, public safety, transit, housing, infrastructure, and the services residents rely on. Yet it is not always easy to understand where decisions are being made, why they matter, or how residents can have their voices heard.

I want to help make those conversations more accessible.

You can expect updates here on the priorities I have been speaking about throughout the campaign: reliable municipal services, responsible spending, safe and strong neighbourhoods, thoughtful growth, affordability, and accountable representation.

Just as importantly, I want this to remain a two-way conversation.

Some of the most valuable insights I have gained over the years have come from conversations with residents, volunteers, community organizations, local businesses, and families across Burlington. Those conversations continue to shape how I think about the challenges and opportunities ahead.
